Roger Pinckney
Roger Pinckney is a two time winner of the South Carolina Fiction Prize... for writing non-fiction! Pinckney's mantra "You just can't make this sh-- up", has served him well. He faithfully records sometimes inconvenient facts, but artfully enhances and rearranges them so they read like carefully crafted fiction.
Pinckney is a waterman and seventh generation South Carolina Low Country native. His books include, Blue Roots, The Right Side of the River, Little Glory, Signs and Wonder, and Seventh Son on Sacred Ground. A novel, By the Rivers of Babylon, is due out in June, 2009.
