Kudos and Accolades to All

King and Prince Hotel: Ocean side viewSpeakers, conference goers, scholarship recipients and the wonderful King and Prince Hotel staff were all "on their game". There was plenty of networking going on and attendees literally raved over how wonderful the conference was, presenting a variety of excellent speakers who not only were very helpful and effective covering all points of the writing process and the vagaries involved but were on hand during mid-day breaks and at day's end to speak individually to attendees and students.
The Evening With the Author cocktail reception was well attended and many stayed long, to chat and mingle as they feasted on wild, Georgia shrimp almost as large as lobster tails!  The camaraderie was in keeping with the old, southern charm that emanates from the elegant oceanfront resort, originally built as a private club in the 1930's.  "A huge success!"  was echoed many times Saturday night amid the soft sounds of the surf and the music from the oboe, flute and piano at the reception in the solarium.
